It is with great excitement and enthusiasm that I’m announcing my candidacy for the State Assembly in the 20th District to challenge the longtime incumbent Christine Sinicki. I offer a contrast on issues with Rep. Sinicki and strive to bring a conservative voice to the public discourse.
Rep. Sinicki voted with the Madison progressive lobbyists by voting against every bill brought to the floor of the assembly this legislative session. This included voting against prosecuting someone who was illegally trafficking in food stamps, she voted against returning the surplus to the tax payers, and she voted against reforming the Milwaukee County board. These were bipartisan issues that most constituents do support, which means Rep. Sinicki is no longer representing the interests of the 20th District.
Over the last four years I have had the opportunity to meet and talk to a lot of people, and I have found there are many voters, both Democrats and Republicans, who feel abandoned by Assemblywoman Sinicki. They also know the beautiful and hardworking South Shore deserves better.
This is why I am running for office, and why I am asking for your support. Together we can keep Wisconsin and the 20th District moving forward, so please visit www.MakeItMolly.com for updates on the campaign, as well as ways to get involved. Let’s all help the South Shore shine on!
